By taxi: There are authorized taxi stands inside the airport where you can buy a ticket to your destination look for the stands that say "Transporte Terrestre" to buy a ticket and then proceed outside to the taxi line to catch the taxi. (The transportation fee from the Airport to Polanco/Anzures where both Camino Real and Wyndham hotels is $170to180 pesos per person)
These taxis are kinda expensive, why not just get a cab on the street?
Because we don't want to mess with your safety. We strongly advise against taking random passing taxis anywhere in Mexico City. Official taxi stands, with a person with a clipboard logging each departure, are regarded as safe by most experts. (There is a stand at El Camino Real) A hotel can call you a radio taxi, and get the description of the taxi and its number. It may be a couple bucks more, but your safety is worth it.
So, i want to buy authentic mexican stuff, how can i get some mexican pesos?
We Recommend to do it at the Airport: The airport has dozens of money exchange booths (a.k.a., Casa de Cambio), in the public terminal and the secure gate area. The exchange rates at Mexico City airport are usually very competitive, much better than at US or Europe airports, and seem to be always open. There are also several ATMs in the airport as a good option.
When does the program start?
The program officially starts on Monday, March 8th, the meeting point is at the lobby of El Camino Real at 7:00 a.m., and students staying at the Wyndham Garden will be escorted to El Camino Real leaving 15 minutes before the meeting schedule time to be there
Is there a dress code? Will i need a suit or similar formal clothing?
For the company visits and sessions at IPADE the dressing code is Business casual wear, you do not need a formal suit. For the city visit a casual wear is recommended.
How about laptop? do we need to cary one?
